Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
Spinal Decompression Therapy is the safest and most effective treatment for vertebral disc pathology without the use of drugs or surgery. Decompression reduces the pressure inside a disc to retract bulging disc material and facilitate the transfer of fluids, oxygen and nutrients into the disc for healing. This also reduces the pressure that the bulging material puts on the nerve and provides relief from nerve pressure. SpineMED technology has been designed to facilitate the natural healing of the disc for long term stability and provide an alternative to surgery for those who qualify. read more»

Active Rehabilitation (Prescription Exercise Programs)
Active Rehab is a prescription exercise program specifically designed to enable the client to continue the recovery process while providing a Graduated-Return-to-Work. The purpose is to transition the client from acute care (physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic, etc.) back to the activities required of work or everyday life. Active Rehab program protocols include: muscle stretching and strengthening, core activation, cardiovascular improvement, postural balancing and education and pain education. All sessions are supervised by a certified Kinesiologist on a one-on-one basis. Programs are designed to build confidence and promote independence over time.
Graduated Return to Work Rehabilitation (Work Conditioning)
Involve a progression of increasing daily hours at work or a gradual increase in functional abilities of their occupation over time. The Return-to-Work portion of the program involves input from the client, Kinesiologist, the attending Physician, the Case Manager and the Employer. An integrate team approach provides the client with the best outcome measures, and produces the most timely and effective recovery.
